FRL parking at South Mimms - important please read

For those of you who don't frequent the org much or weren't aware of the issues last year where some people had problems if they were there for more than two hours, here is an update posted by Lee about the parking arrangements at South Mimms

"Hi all......I have spoken to the duty manager at South Mimms and have some very good news :D:D:D

Firstly......when you get there can you try and keep to the left hand side of the coach park....so that if any coaches do arrive (unlikely) they can park next to the services.

IMPORTANTLY.....when you get there, please make ya way to the reception of the Days Inn hotel, within 2 hours!!....enter your car reg into the ANPR machine and parking will be free!!!!!

He is letting the hotel duty manager know tomorrow so they will be ready for us!!"

That's good news for all you FRLers.
I know last year some people were billed for staying in excess of 2 hours. A great offer from the services to remedy the problem.
Enjoy yourselves guys. Don't forget the photos!

Ignore the threat-o-grams these idiots send through the post anyway.

These "parking enforcement companies" have no more power than your dustman to put "fines" on your car; appeasing them only gives these fools an air of credibility.

Agreed and that is what everyone did last year anyway, just nice to have a simple step to avoid the hassle in the first place
