Well it's over and I did attend but it seems did not find all of the show and stands . If I attend again next time will take pleanty of food and drink as the prices were just a plain ole rip off. £8'60 for a tea and sausage in a roll is just a rip off. So much so despite beign hungry i waited until leaving and stopped in the Forest Services on the motoway for food which was far cheaper and that says it all when a motorway service food it cheaper then it's real rip off.
Bought a replacement aerial for the F as broke mine when working on the hood last week  :bang: and also picked up a Black/cream steering wheel from Darren at MGFNTFBITZ for £30 tht was me done. Actually drove over in "Blue 33" after she passed her test last Tuesday. As the sun came out and showed her face just after Newark we stopped in a layby on the A46 and dropped the top for the rest of the way there. Had to put it up to come home as it was raining rather well by then.

Mrs Argen69 and I were there too. It was much bigger this year due being combined with the Triumph show.
We aimed to get there for the 9:30 opening time, and sat in traffic for 10 minutes waiting to get in. I heard stories of later arrivals queuing in traffic for up to an hour. So it was definitely better getting there early.
It was much bigger than last year being over 4 halls, so we were there until after lunch.
Yep it was very expensive. We had a spit roast pork roll and a cup of tea each and it was over £15 :omg: Will take a packed lunch next year.
I got a set a rear light covers for BarryD and this is the little lot for myself
The bump stops are from a triumph. They were the closest I could find to the ones on the rear upper arms which I could not find at any of the usual MG specialist. They will need a bit of adaptation though.
On they way out I spoke to Peter of MGFmania about replacing my green rear screen/hood, but I think my finances will need the summer to recover, so maybe next year!

I got there about 9 am and still had to queue fort eh last 1/2 mile or so.
If I attend next year will certainly take proper food maybe even something hot in a food flask plus sandwiches and a flask for a hot drink pus something to sit on whilst eating.................................... hmmm perhaps one of those rather fancy wicker picnic hampers will have to keep an eye out for something suitable.
