Aston martin race day oulton park sat 10th 2014

Hi guys anyone up for a run out meet up to oulton park cheshire on sat 10th may2014 al makes models types welcome from midgets to mgf s tfs mgbs an indeed anything in between its the aston martin car club day with races including past and present cars of all types including pre war sports cars usualy a no of mg vehicles are on track e types e,t,c sounds smells and noises to appeal to all all and any support with members attending this meet will be more than welcome thanks very much to one and all.

It's always good to throw up invites Bugsy. This one's a bit short notice though. If you let me know with a bit of warning in future I'll add it to the events section and spam an email to our members. There's more chance of them attending that way. :broon:

What a great day!
We parked up near the track and made use of the seats in the stand (never quite know why the stand is called such when it has seats?)

Then watched a couple of races...





Before heading off to the cafe to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa

Then it was time for a stroll around the paddocks...



















Once refreshed, it was time for the 'big boys' to play...





As you can see, the weather behaved and held for quite a while and wasn't the washout it was reported to be after all

When the rains came and the action hotted up...the track got a tad slippery when wet...But we couldn't help feeling sorry for this guy....



Still, it's all in a day's racing I suppose!
Looking forward to the next one :drive:

Yes indeed ,more track action this weekend at cheshire's premier race circuit its the mg owners club race day and any support with regard to a meet will be more than appreciated as you can see from the photos above the action on track is wide and varied and any of support will fab ill be parked on the lodge gate entrance if any members would like to meet my self and rich had a superb day and many thanks by the way rich for uploading your photos of last saturdays action all welcome from midgets to bs to f s and indeed anything inbetween look forward to seeing a little more support this week . Come on you ff. ers let's have some support for Saturday what looks to be a fab sunny Saturdays mgoc race day at oulton park you no you want to come on north wales guys and girls don't be shy !
