Meet Peppa!!!
Hi fellow doggy lovers...meet our latest addition to the family...Peppa! :woohoo:
She's a 16month old tiny border collie whose owner couldn't keep her any more
She's settling in well and starting to trust us...she has a few problems, but nothing we can't solve. She's very friendly, good with other dogs and is geting on well with the cats (when they stop smacking her!). She's very timid, very fearful of having done anything wrong...but loves to please! her tail was firmly between her legs at first, but is now wagging happily far more often!!!
she's very happy in the fields...
but not quite so sure about water yet!!!
still, it's worth going in if it means cuddles on the carpet later :hugs:
Oh and, most importantly, she's FANTASTIC in the car and fits in the footwell perfectly!!! A born MG doggy!

That look in the eyes, as if they understand every word you say...and the dog looks good too.

Looking at my daughters Staffy here, it seems like he has 'learning difficulties' when comparing him to a dog with more than one brain cell. But to be fair to his inabilities, he makes a good draft excluder. Border collies are like chinese food. Once they've had a walk, they're ready to go again five minutes later. I'm sure Peppa will settle right in. She seems to be a beautiful, intelligent looking pooch and it's really nice of you to take her in. Lovely pics, thanks for sharing them.

What a sweet looking dog! When we first got Gypsy (we took her in when her previous owner couldn't take care of her too), she was very shy and timid, but it wasn't too long before she felt like she was one of the 'pack' - and by the looks of things Peppa is settling in very happily with you too! Thanks for the lovely pics! :hugs:

Thanks for the lovely comments...and photos from Paul - can I steal your chocolate collie....always wanted one of those!
Peppa is settling more and more...and has had the official seal of approval from Tracy (Pendle Lass), Pete & Tracy (Bang Tidy) and my mum's 7 month collie pup Misty :broon:
She's actually starting to 'let go' and play more and more, but loves running...just for the sheer delight of it! :woohoo:
