Border Patrol Britny 5 Castles Run, Northumberland - 21st August 2010

To welcome Britny (Some of us know her) back to her home town of Ashington I am organising a run for her.

It will be a 10am meet for a 10.30 start.

Starting from The Woodhorn Grange Hotel, Ashington.

we will take a route which will take in 5 of the main castles in Northumberland.
From Ashington we will travel across to the coast and up to Warkworth castle

from there we will carry on up to Alnwick castle

taking in the views of Alnmouth etc.

From Alnwick we will carry on up to Dunstanburgh castle

and then on up the coast, where we will stop at Seahouses for fish and chips and stretch our legs. After that we will carry on up to Bamburgh castle

and it's beautiful views of the coast.
After that we will cut across to Chillingham castle

and then back down towards The Woodhorn Grange Hotel where we can have a drink/feed the ducks (Phil) and chill out before going our seperate ways.
