To help people find the part they are looking for, I have labelled some pictures with the locations of different sensors and other useful points. It is not an exhaustive list and will be added to, in fact, please feel free to add to it if you have any pics. Adding pics however means that you are giving me permission to reproduce the pics in a similar how to elsewhere. I will take the pics and add them to the main part of the threa . I have tried to identify the different sensors using my workshop manual, but I may have got things wrong, after all, I am only human (honest), so please feel free to point out any inaccuracies (Like my spelling ;) ).

Some of these sensors are particular to the TF, but most are common across the models.

So here goes.

Location of Camshaft sensor on an MGF mpi

Timing marks are as follows:

Camshaft timing marks

Crankshaft timing marks

And rear camshaft timing marks (VVC Only)

Rear ABS Sensor and Reluctor Ring.

Front ABS Sensor and Reluctor Ring.
