Hello everyone
I bought a '02 TF just before Christmas and now I'm hooked.
I now spend every evening trawling the internet lusting over shiny objects that might better my TF.
I also now find it's impossible to drive without a silly grin on my face.
Will this pass in time or is it something I have to get used to?
I have to admit that this isn't my first MG as I had a brief fling with a B back in the mid 80's, but this time around I think it's the real thing.
A little about myself: 47 yrs old, live in Cornwall. Hobbies include cycling and walking. Will be posting a question soon re-the cycling and MG's.
Anyway, that's the brief intro over and I'd just like to add that I'm looking forward to being a member of the forum.

The shiny problem may disappear once everything possible is blinged
although new bling comes along all the time, plenty of other things to empty your pockets and that list is never ending
The smile of driving is free though an never goes away as long as its running...lol

I have been a member for a month but will have to wait another 3 weeks or so for my F to arrive.
The suspense is killing me but it hasn't stopped me from pre-emptively stocking up on some of that bling for the car.
I will have lots to do once it arrives. I may even find time to drive it!
Bring on Summer!
Cheers,
Rich

Like you Rich, I can't wait for summer .... I've already gone 'topless', It was a bit chilly around the ears though, I think a wind deflector might come high up on my purchases.

are you still spell bound with your TF. I bought in 2004 and have done lots of mods and I still love the car but she's an F.
Can put up photos. To date I have been to the MGFest twice and went down to Wolverhampton to the MGF Cente .
I have recently changed to the 52mm trottle body with quad exhausts, cold air induction kit, uprated headgasket with bottom rail, stainless steel coolant pipes, early warning coolant level, daylight headlights,, then changed to Trophy 16 inch alloys. next is the uprated discs and callipers. I done some of the bushings as well.

Yes, Im still spellbound. Only glitch was the waterpump, but since that everything has been fine. My average annual mileage has previously been around 7-8000 miles per year. Im already up to 3000 in a little over 3 months.
