Hi all, Newbie from South Wales :)
Hi guys and girls!
I spotted this forum the other day and thought I would join up as it seems like a pretty good site!
I have used mg-rover.org for a few months and have found it very informative, so some of you may know me from there
Anyway..... About me and the car
Me first
I am Adam
I am 20
I am a university student in Swansea
I drive a sonic blue mgtf 135 spark LE
I have owned the car for roughly 6 months
I enjoy cleaning and detailing cars with the aid of my trusty machine polisher
The car:
As said it is a sonic blue TF 135 LE
2005
30k in the clock (bought it at 26k)
AP racing brakes
11 spoke wheels
Pepper cloth roof
Colour matched hard top
Bright pack
Now the interesting stuff (if you like mods):
Flat wiper blades (not a huge mod I know)
Silver and black badge overlays
6000k hid kit
JVC DVD headunit
Stainless steel quad exit pro speed cat back
De-cat pipe with mil eliminator
K&N induction pipe with cold air feed from the air vent, I do have a rover 800 air box to enclose it, but I need a different pipe setup
I also removed the momo gear knob and replaced with a standard metal one because I prefer the look
Also swapped the switches around on my centre console.
That's it really haha! I havent got any pics atm because I am sitting in my car waiting for a lecture in university but I can upload when I get home
Thanks for looking!

Hi AdamR,
Nice write up there and a good list of mods. Looking forward to seeing them. It's neat that you changed the switches around I thought. Simple things please my mind for some reason or other . Might try that myself and put the blanks away from me a touch. Nice one.
I've a daughter at UEL, second year in psychosociology studies. What are you studying down there? I know it can't be coal mining nowadays . Lots of good read ups here to keep you interested. So, welcome boyo.
If you hear 'popping', it'll be the shoutbox over to the right of the page. You're not going mad.
Although, that always helps around here.

Sorry for the lack of pics... here are some to satisfy your needs
I may as well start from when I first got the car:
When I got it home from shrewsbury...
As you can see, it was rather dirty
Here are some before, during and after HID's:
Before:
During, spot the difference:
After:
I am chuffed with the HID's, I forgot how much better they actually are! night time driving!
Next came a pro speed quad pipe cat back system:
De-cat:
Better pics and a vid of the exhaust:
Then a good wash and some scratch removal:
Before:
After:
Before:
Finished result:
Sonic Blue
Hope you like

Thanks
I think it sounds a bit different now due to the k&n induction but the only way to check is by another vid.
I may have a go at another vid later to compare
