Newbie from Sweden!
My story with MG started before I was born actually, with my father getting himself a -53 TD which he fitted with a Corsair engine and rear axle off a MGB. I grew up thinking everyone had an MG in their garage..? 🤔
Fast forward to early September of last year and I found myself getting an MGF! It's been sitting for two years, so it didn't pass our version of MOT (surprise surprise) but that I knew beforehand. Right rear brake caliper seized, pretty rusty brake discs all around and so on. During the checks they found rusty brake lines and that I need to replace the front right lower arm as well.
Brakes are getting sorted slowly but steadily, I keep searching for parts and wondering why the heck I had to fall for MG? Not very common here so I have to get most of the parts from the UK and the shipping of heavy packages to Sweden... Ouch.
But I keep tinkering away, hoping that I will get it through the MOT before the summer is over. Until then I will most probably post a ton of questions here about all sorts of problems that I keep stumbling upon...
