Hi from New Zealand
I have a 2001 1.6i in Anthracite.
I bought an MG slightly by accident, as I needed a second car after selling a couple of motorbikes and discovered that an MGF was in budget.
After looking at one that was very tidy, but needed a lot of work, I was offered the 1.6i and bought it on the spot as it was being sold by the local MG service center and had the head gasket, timing belt and radiator all replaced.
There are a few little jobs to do on it, replace speakers, get another key fob but its in great condition.
I have driven 4wd vehicles as the family car for the last 15 years so something small, light and manual is a huge amount of fun.
Im going to order a PScan so I can diagnose any issues.
cheers
Martin

Thank you for the welcome.
The MG is tucked up in the garage until the lockdown is over.
Here are a couple of pictures....
The photos make it look better than it is, there are some marks in the paint and small dents etc, but the car is sound, and after 2000 miles hasn't used any oil.
I have some little jobs to do:
1. The hood needs a proper clean and water proof, so i will be ordering an Autoglym kit as soon as life returns to normal
2. Need a spare keyfob so I have ordered a Pscan and a spare keyfob (arrived)
3. Need to replace the front speakers.

Nice car! And a super tidy garage - it's tidier than my house!
