Hello!
Hello all,
Newbie from South Wales. I'm hunting for an MGTF this weekend and unfortunately the link to buyers guide isn't working. Aside from the head gasket and subframe mounts are there any other issues I should be looking out for?
Any help gratefully received!!

Hi James I actually bought an 04 in X power grey with 37000 on the clock. Picked it up last night. It’s in very good condition for the year. 2 previous owners with a hard top and a stand for the hard top. I’ve given it a thorough clean inside and seem to have disturbed something because the SRS warning light has come on!

Check the seat belt tensioner connections under the seat, they are favourite for causing cars light, for safety disconnect the battery for 10 mins first then pull the connectors apart and back together again several time to clean the contacts, reconnect the battery and all should be good again.

Thanks Steve all sorted. The leads were hanging down under the seat with yellow in line connectors. Easy fix.

Hi and :welcome: to the Tbar from John in Yorkshire . The SRS wires usually do this due to the flimsy connectors . Moving the seat causes them to loose contact . Best off replacing with something more robust .
