New Member - Hello to new friends!

Hello all,

In November 2019, I bought an MGF 75LE (1999) and I love it. It has Platinum Silver paintwork with a Maroon cloth roof.

It had only 80,000km (~50,000 miles) on the clock and have added a little over 4000km's since.

I have performed a variety of necessary repairs/maintenance tasks over that time which have allowed me to get quite well acquainted to the mechanics of the vehicle.

I have replaced the LHD lower suspension arm as it had a worn ball joint, flushed the cooling system, changed the oil and filter, replaced the fuel filter, plugs and points, air filter and brake pads. I also had the hydra gas was pumped up to the correct height as it was so low I couldn’t get over many speed humps without scraping the under carriage.

A copy of the PDF workshop has helped been invaluable for me to get these jobs done as well as reading many useful forum articles including from this fine website.

I look forward to contributing the occasional post and seeking more useful advise as I'm sure I going to need it .
