Hello from Cambridgeshire
Hello everyone. I am not currently an owner of either an F or a TF but just make do with a BGT. I certainly hope to add a TF in the not too distant future and I've learned that a great way to learn about any car is to hang about and lurk in the enthusiasts's forums.
I hope to add some more to the forum when I eventually begin my ownership journey but am happy to offer whatever help I can. I doubt I'm the only classic MG owner on here so I'm also happy to chat about those too.

So after a year and a bit of lurking, I finally went and bit the bullet last month and have become the very pleased owner of a nice '04 TF 160 in Nocturne blue. It has a fair old list of extras fitted by the previous owners but does need a bit of tidying up. Compared to my other car, the fuel economy of this thing is a revelation with more than double the range on a tank. Add to that it uses regular unleaded and my other one is mapped for 99 RON and I'm sure you can tell, the TF is going to be my daily for a while to come.
I have acquired a hard top and some other items that will allow me to tweak it to my liking but the thing I have noticed overwhelmingly is the friendliness and sheer helpfulness of people in this community. I did have a Maestro Efi (which ended up 16v) many years ago but they seemed to be a bit looked down upon back then.
Looking forward to getting involved in the future as I slowly renovate and restore this little thing to its best.

Hi and welcome, I had a BGT for a while but opted for a reasonably solid TF as a stop gap until I can find a suitable B at the right price!
