Hello from Me and my MG
Hi Everyone, I'm the proud owner of a LeMans Green MG TF 160. I've had it for a few months now and slowly I'm trying to show some love to a car that has been neglected a bit over the years.
It is in good mechanical conditions, with only 66k on the clock, but now I'm focusing on the trims.
The latest challenge is now to find the right shade of green to restore the steering wheel. I got some online but it was totally something else! Like grey almost!
I'm from High Wycombe, would you know a place where I can get it from? Or somewhere online that you know has the right shade?
I have found this:
https://www.daytonagblimited.co.uk/leather-seat-dyes/656-aston-martin-scuffmaster-leather-dye-65ml-bottle.html
Was thinking that the "MGF dark green piping" should be the right shade, got some headrests with the piping, and looks similar.
Would this be any good?
Thank you!!!

I've bought a few things from 'theleatherclinic' on ebay. They are good value and have been very helpful when I have asked questions. They do a
steering wheel repair and restore kit
, which includes a dye in the colour of your choice and a set of tints to enable you to match your colour closely.

I've seen them on eBay, prices are competitive. Bit nervous on making my own tint though... But it's worth the option, considering the price and the fact that it is a full kit.
Maybe the wrong place to ask, but how do you know what tint to add to make up the colour you want?
Thank you!
