George2 is being stripped

Sometime over the next few weeks we are going to be stripping George2, an anthracite MGF Mk2 MY2000.

Some parts have already been claimed by early birds, and a few bits will find their way onto our own cars, but if there's anything you're after in particular, just drop me a message, we'll agree a price and I'll add you to the 'dibs' list!

He has the 'bright pack' ie chrome door handles, posh mesh, chrome ashtray; a Mul-T-Lok antitheft device; great hood (black) & plastic screen; OEM windstop; black leather seats; front & rear mud flaps and all those biuts and pieces that normally get lost. All panels available, but the front wings would need some work...ideal if you want to practice your bodywork skills though....mmmm that gives me a thought for those long winter months!!!

Sorry to hear it has come to this, such a beautiful car deserved a better ending. Sad sign of the times.

I'd like to buy the front and rear mud-flaps from you as the Portland ones are rubbish and it seems the originals are far superior. I will no doubt be passing your way at some point if they're still available and can PayPal money in the meantime.

ok, will Pm you...the exhaust system is only standard though...not the daytona's like the others have!

i need something Maggy just not sure what yet. George lives on in bcaww so George 2 must also.

all i can think of atm is I've got some carbon wrap to have a play with and if you have the seat belt things that go on the t bar . thought i had some in the garage but can't find them


the only other things that i can think of are a coolant alarm and ss coolant pipes

No probs Tracy...we've def got some of the seat belt thingys that you can have and you have 1st dibs on the SS pipes! He hasn't got a coolant alarm, but there will be a spare bottle to make one from
