agree with that and a previous comment about it being destined to be broken for parts , I couldnt justify breaking such a clean example!!

Its the wrong time of year to be selling these types of cars I think you would be mental to take less than a grand for it in my opinion though

havent seen the car in the flesh but if its half as good as it sounds and looks in the pictures I think some one would be gettin a steal at current asking price

The big problem is that there are a few really good ones have gone for c£700 on the 'bay and recently what looked like a good example went fairly cheaply here. You might be right that it's the wrong time of the year. Good luck with the sale. It looks too good to break though

If you don't need the cash or the space I'd sell the hard top now for £200-£300 and wait until Easter to sell the car, ideally with a fresh MOT.

Hope they like the car. I was showing a friend (TR5 owner of many years standing) the thread last night during a meeting when he almosty shouted out 'how much?!' I think it represents great value for money and your asking price is extremely fair. If I could think of a reason (and I've tried) to own 2 I'd buy it. While the received wisdom is these cars sell better in Spring time, it has a hard top and Christmas is very close.....perhaps a marketting opportunity?

I hope they buy it for the right money Roger.

I was tempted (at your original price) but couldn't persuade senior management that I needed another one. Instead of which I'm now driving down to the South coast on Friday to pick up a hardtop - a round trip of about 450 miles. Wish me luck!

Robin ;)

Came & viewed & I think was suitably impressed.
Was looking at 2 more on his travels & will 'phone later today on what he has decided.
He's never had an F before, so I don't know whether all the improvements I've done sunk in ;)
Will let you know.

Well, he has decided to buy it at last, but knocked me down on price :(
Needs must, so he has got an excellent F for a bargain price.
As long as he turns up with the cash tomorrow, it's gone.
Thanks for the interest.
