I have my old MGF which i suspect the headgasket has gone...

im breaking for most parts (my knowledge of the K-series engine is limited!)

rear bumper is cracked and a few 'gentle' scratches on drivers side door, and one exhaust tailpipe sticks out more than the other (not done by me)

everything else is fine i believe. message for parts and ill get back to you as soon as

NOTE: i live on an active Army base so messages might be slow.
pictures to follow in the week :)

apologies for the poor picture quality

haha im so sorry, i was kinda doing this in a rush and was going to come back to it tomorrow after work with pictures and make it look all pretty ;)

Based in Wattisham near Ipswich. postage of most parts isnt a problem and i can also have people come look at parts if they dont mind being escorted around an army base :)

Interested in the door mirrors if also in nightfire red, can you supply pics, can you check paint code on vin plate as heard are a couple of nightfires, do heating elements still work, sorry about all questions but was ripped off by a mail order breakers at Hull who now ignore all correspondance .

There are 3 Nightfires (used to work for Rover back in the day).

Nightfire (COQ) - Rover 214/216 wedge / Rover 600 etc - this is PEARLESCENT colour and shimmers in the light
Nightfire 2 (CAQ) - MGF up to 2002 - this is PEARLESCENT colour and shimmers in the light
Nightfire 3 (CBT) - MGTF (I know as Megs TF bumper was Nightfire 3 and was original colour) - this is a METALLIC colour and sparkles - typically we moved to metallic as it was cheaper LOL

There's also a CAO Nightfire that was around 2000-2001 but god knows what was painted in it!

Yep, i would say the best looking red i've seen on any car, bit off track but had a Rover 820 fastback (final facelift model) in Pearlescant Carribean Blue that too was a great shimmery colour changing in different light.

i would say the car is definitely worth saving , but with my work, lack of space and i also have a classic mini i just dont have the time. if someone would like the car as whole im sure we could work something out!

ill supply picks and check the vin later on, but the door mirrors are still there ;) sorry about the vagueness of my reply... the car has been sitting there while ive been in Afghan so tonight will be my first proper look at it really. watch this space!

Fingers crossed someone takes it on as a project - look forward to your pictures.

I used to have a Mk1 Mini (real one) - with an 1100 engine in it. Took it round Castle Combe a few times! Great little cars!

If I'm being honest it doesn't need much doing to get it back to its former glory but I just don't have the money to do this and keep up with my mini :( shame really I enjoyed driving this while i did!
