new screen! glass one if cheap :)

Had a spot of bad luck and now require a new screen anyone have one or reccomend a place that will sort me out ? Might go to mg bitz at worksop if its warm. Some eBay coach trimming places can do the job for about 70quid all in and they come to you. Would like a glass one but can't justify the double plus cost if it.

we work with these cars all the time.if the car is your pride and joy and you plan to keep her buy the best you can.if you just want to do it up to sell it then do a good repair.we can supply a heated glass rear screen for £225. its a lot,but thats only allowing us £10 profit.we have fitted a fair few of these and never had a come back,they are made to same standard as the rover factory and fit easy.they are loys of cheaper things on ebay.but its better to spend a bit more then waste a lot.

Keep an eye on ebay, I managed to pick a whole new hood with glass screen in it for £180 in December, then sold my hood for £100.

Bargains do crop up.

Looked at a breaker but hood was already gone. I've gaffered it up on a bargain hunt now.

Managed to get an original 04 screen from eBay for £65 posted so I'm back to the plastic window.

The glass one is on a wish list for the future I think.
