Idle Airintake Control Valve MDQ100170
anyone got one from a recentish TF that they're breaking???
Although I THINK this is the problem part, I'm reluctant to shell out on a new one, if it turns out not to be

What's the problem, Maggy? Have you tried carb cleaner in it?

she keeps idling high and 'hunting' for the right place....
I keep resetting it and it settles for anything between 5 minutes and 5 days, but then starts again

Despite cleaning the IACV with carb cleaner, this problem persisted for me too. It's been fine since I did the
Throttle body 48mm version 2
- Modification guide. Touch wood.

Just popped across to Ian at Primrose Link in Clitheroe to pick up a spare expansion cap and he's very kindly given me one that he lying around on a spare head :woohoo: Thanks Ian!!!
