Updated * - Wanted Mike Satur Boxer MK1 Roll Hoops

As title, I'm after a set of the roll hoops, preferably the black padded ones, for my MGF.

The version that looks like this... with the wind breaker attached

I've got cash waiting for the right price.

Have you tried giving mike a call,I havent heard of him since he come off his bike he sometimes stops at home but fairplay he getting on but he his a brilliant engineer.

I take it you mean Mike Satur himself? Well the photo above is from one of his eBay auctions and that set up is £355 delivered which is a little above what I'd 'like' to pay although I my end up having to pay it at this rate.

Anyone else? :help: :broon:

Like most Mike Satur products, they are well made, effective and expensive. Finding second hand is like finding a Daytona exhaust for £100. Not impossible but very very unlikely.:shrug:

Yeah this is becoming the problem. I've seen some come up on eBay and on some sites. There is currently a used set on eBay for £350 + £30 P&P, which is £25 more than new!! lol
It's increasingly looking like I'll have to shell out the £355 for a new set. Well at least I'll be able to remove them to my next MG when the time comes (as long as I replace the T Bar)
Yes that may sound like a bit of forward planning, but this little F was only ever supposed to be a stop-gap until funds were available to buy a BMW Z4, but now it's looking like this F will be replaced (eventually, but not just yet) by a (very) late LE500 instead as we both LOVE the MG :woohoo: :drive:

I went through the same thing before buying new. I got the chrome mk1 Boxter version. Ended up in casualty A & E while fitting them too. :oops:

I'm assuming you sliced something that wasn't meant to be sliced, ie; your arm/wrist/hand/neck*?

You have to shape the underside of the T Bar to accept the bigger crossmember. Slicing your palm open with a razor sharp chisel is apparently not compulsory. :doh: :coat:

I'll bear that in mind when it comes to doing mine... ** Note to self; Don't slice hand with sharp chisel!
