Dragging up an old post, sorry
Just like to say that the search is now off as I'm now the owner of a used full set-up of exactly the type I was looking for, Mike Satur MK1 in black, padded and with the built-in folding wind stop :woohoo:
They just arrived here at work today so they are now in the boot to be taken home. Not sure when I'll be fitting them, but soon hopefully.
The only problem now is that i don't have any fitting insturctions, mainly the template and fixing dimensions for drilling the T-Bar. I've seen a very nice set of instructions over on .org which I've copied but they don't contain the sizes. Anyone able to help there? Oh yeah and this set didn't come with a set of speaker brackets, but I've liberated a nice piece of aluminium from work that'll do very nicely for that :yesnod:
Thank for all of the help,
Dave

so how much did you pay in the end?
I was lucky when I got mine, £190 for black metal hoops with full length glass windstop and leather T-Bar

Hi Whiz,
They cost me £200 but I had to arrange my own delivery, which wasn't too bad as I used MyHermes to pick them up which was £15 and they arrived in three days.
They were on a 30 day Buy-It-Now on fleabay and I think they only lasted 3 hours before I spotted them
So now it's just a case of finding the diamensions for drilling the holes, which to be honest I could work out but it would be nice to have the correct sizes. And then I'll be spraying the metal mesh black as they are silver and look really odd at the moment
Really looking forward to some summer roof down driving now to show them off :drive:
Some photos will pop-up once they are fitted, not that anyone doesn't know what they look like, but there's nothing quite like some gratuitous photo posting
