That there plastic is one of them there things wot Araldite won't bond to, I fear.

Try some of that plumbers emergency repair putty?

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I've got a spare expansion tank. I changed it because I thought it was leaking but I still have the slight leak so it's probably OK.

I can put it in the post first class tomorrow if you want it but that doesn't guarantee you'll get it on Saturday.

That would be amazing I would of course pay for any costs. I'll be getting a float valve one like in my old TF that was bullet proof it survived loads of coolant experiments.
