I have a second hand scorpion  Great quality exhaust but a little tame, suits me though. It is very adjustable for a great fit with both hangers having bolts so you can tweek it just right.

The Mark 4/3 TT I had has had around seven owners I think,I loved the sound but there's no way i could have lived with it from day to day.

I'm not that interested in performance gains more about giving the car a sound it deserves.
I think I prefer a toyoport but don't no if I can wait 4 - 6 weeks for them to come into stock.
I'm tempted to try an unknown one off eBay . . Still stainless and direct bolt on fitment but they don't no what they sound like on the car they are made by an outside company for them to sell on so they don't really know the product but still cheap at £200 for a brand new stainless sports exhaust and fitting kit.
Do I risk it though?? It could be a pile of Shiite with no noise difference over the standard or it could be great sounding and good quality and good fitment but it's a worry of the unknown that has stopped me hitting the but it now so far. . .

Also i found out the sports exhausts on ebay are made by a company called direnza , from what ive read on other forums they belong to a company that has a few brands under its belt including toyosport .
So i may be ordering one over the next few days and take a chance on it.

Funnily enough i made him an offer of 170 for that exact listing but it was rejected and for some reason it wont let me make another offer , after i made the offer they got back to me saying they will accept 10% off the buy it now price so 179.99 is what i want to offer but cant because of ebay not letting me.

Also made an offer on a cybox exhaust but there counter offer wasnt close to my offer. From what i understand cybox was born from the ashes of the old peco exhaust company after it went bump

Well ill update as and when ive put my money where my mouth id . . .

To be honest slippy , for 350 quid i can get one built from scratch at a custom exhaust shop exactly the way i want it to look and sound but i dont want to stretch myself that far hence why im looking at the more sensible side of the market such as toyosports , direnza , cybox etc etc

The cybox is a straight through and unbaffled and aparently produces a deep growl so im very tempted if i can get avdescent deal off them

I bit the bullet and made cybox a new offer which was accepted so hopefully next week it will arrive and I can fit it next weekend.

The reason I chose the cybox over the direnza was that the cybox is a straight through system where as the direnza. Is baffled , cybox was designed with power and noise in mind where as the direnza seems to be more of a standard system made from stainless witha little extra noise . .
Noise being my issue I didn't want to spend 200 quid on a system to be disappointed with its acoustic output.
Knowing that both company's are potentially well known (cybox -peco and dirrenza - toyosports) I've always liked the tones that peco boxes put out (had a few in my time fitted to hot hatches)

However this is still an unknown as there's no sound clips or youtube videos of this system fitted to a Tf (like wise for the direnza) so once fitted I'll give my opinions on it and I'll upload a video for others to have a listen and make there minds up so at very least it'll be there for some one in my position in the future

P.s can't wait now!!!

Looking forward to hearing what you think of it & how it compares regarding sound, tone & build quality to the usual suspects!

From what I've heard and read on other forums and youtube they come quite recommended although no one was actually announced on a forum they have one fitted to an f or Tf just mainly on the zr/zs/zt etc and no videos on youtube of the exhaust fitted to an f or Tf but again there's videos of them fitted to the zr/zs/zt and they do make a nice deep tone.
But still a relatively unknown which is actually kind of exciting really!!

Can't wait for it to arrive so I can get it on and see how it sounds!!

They have it advertised for 240 + 15 for delivery
The offer they accepted was 195 + 15 delivery so 210 in total and 45 quid less than advertised

Bob is that a video of the tt or scorpion?? Just curious as I thought the tt was a straight through system but only the off side tail pipe is emitting gasses from it??
