Just so I am 100% with this, you simply started with basic MGF lights and went to work with the paint? Great job, and a great look.....

Yeah, that's the way to do it!
There are two ways to approach the job. As Sam has done it which just requires removing the front glass and masking up the light apertures.
Or you can dismantle the whole headlamp assembly to separate the front bezel and paint it. This probably will give a more professional finish, but the assembly is fragile, and you can break it in the attempt to take it apart. :omg:
Sam's way is definitely quicker and easier. :yesnod:

Posted 12 years 5 months ago #52060Should anyone else be contemplating similar, you can remove the chrome first with normal house hold bleach just be careful use a marigold and a wet tissue in little circles.
(well the French bleach works) [yellow peril]
