if you need a new oblong lucas alarm case I've a couple here!! :broon:

47y/o with 3 teenage daughters (yikes!!!) engineer,car/bike fanatic,alarm /eobd programmer/fixer, ex bike racer and builder of the trickest 1off motorbikes known to man!! (oh...and general good guy!)

It has been done but it isn't straight foward.

Thanks Andy I am good for the lucas key cases was just having a look on Ebay and was thinking I would swap them round to the newer round cases if it was easy :drive:

I don't know if it is possible or not, but my advice is not to bother. The rubber over the buttons on my Rover fobs has gone hard over time and on one of them has got so hard to press that it is only used in emergencies. The other fob is now going the same way and replacement cases are not available for these Pektron cases. Lucas fob repair kits are freely available on eBay.

Someone on .org was selling flip key fobs which take the internals from the original fobs.
