To be honest there is no point spending much on the audio of an MGF :nonod:

I also like Mr Bonamassa, when I first heard him I thought SRV had come home, but alas not, still good though!Webby wrote: I don't want to spend masses just to get something that sounds better than standard with is shaft. I also want to use my iPod to listen to some stuff.

I'd always shy away from too many speakers for a start, 2.1 is the optimum system (in my opinion) - throwing more speakers at the problem will probably cause more confusion than it solves.
Do you mind buying second hand stuff?

I have the non bluetooth version, does everything i need, radio text for good old R2, ipod control so i can lock the ipod in the glovebox sound quality good in my old discovery, not so good in the F as the speakers are shafted.
Last time i was in halfords they had some cheap panasonic ipod units, but no bluetooth.

I don't listen to enough radio to bother with dab, and I've got a stubby aerial and I doubt it'd get any reception. I play most music off a USB stick shoved in the slot on the front.

No DAB, but literally every other way of listening to music possible, and a "modern" proper display.
Just something to bear in mind!
