I use one of these obtained from Aldi.

You can get almost anything in Aldi!

This is my first year of having a chilly knob...and I can't say I'm enjoying it very much :nonod:

It was much nicer this time last year with George's beautiful wooden knob, but time's change...guess I'm going to have to remember to put my gloves on before handling this knob :yesnod:

I changed to a winter knob last year but this year I've decided to keep my summer shiny knob and invested in a cover.

I hear a leather covered nob is best. I did have one but I gave it to a lady MGer, she liked it a lot and still uses it now

I keep a pair of leather gloves in the arm rest ready to handle the beautiful cryogenically cooled knob, the coldest piece of metal known to man in the Northern hemisphere.

I reckon this knob is a god send, just imagine how cold your car would be if your knob didn't absorb all that cold :lol:





TBH I like the look of my knob so much I don't see the point of covering it with a sock. If it bothered me that much I would swap it for winter knob.
