I think its fallen off.......

well everything was fine heading down the M6 today.......dry roads, clear skies, roof down and new hat on :lol:

came off the M6 and stopped at the lights, an Astra in the wrong lane nipped in front as the lights changed so as you do i thought i'm not having that :evil: everything was going fine 1st, 2nd, 3rd :omg: nope it aint coming out of 3rd :omg: luckily 3rd was more than enough to do the job :silly: but it leaves me with another job to do tomorrow

after a quick look underneath it looks like part number UYC10006 (who's going to find out what first??) has fallen off and caused it to stick in 3rd gear :rant:

I keep meaning to put a wire tie on mine for insurance.

If fitting a new one, it's worth trying to put it in upside down. ie with the opening downwards. :yesnod:

That reminds me - I've still got the 'emergency' modified pool table leg plate doing that job on mine. The car's done 3k miles since that 'short term' fix :lol:
