Posted 12 years 10 months agojust to let you know the 1.8i astra has a low output gear so i lose on top end but gain in the acceleration stakes

I was a marshall on some Autotests for the MG Car Club last year. It was on tarmac and featured MGs from the thirties up to MGBs no one brought an F or TF but one chap brought a diesel Astra estate and he ended up being faster than a lot of the others who were trying hard and burning rubber. i had an Astra hatch for about 5 years and was a super car and "did what it said on the tin" :thumbsup:

Posted 12 years 10 months agoAlthough I really can't complain, the only thing other than consumables and rear Exhaust box was a fron Caliper, just as i was selling it at 96K miles - so really was/is an excellent car.
Anyhow, this is an MG appreciation society not a Vauxhall one......... :thumbsup:
Turned to the Darkside, K&N Apollo and extra bling fitted.52mm TB
