I am soooo very proud.

Soooo very proud of my lad.

He gave his mate a lift to Norwich today and planned to stay over night, go out clubbing etc.

He has just phoned me to tell me he is on his way home because.........

His mate produced a bag of XTC tablets! John told him and the others to go forth and multiply or words to that effect.

Now my John is a stroppy know it all teenager who never listens to me and always reckons I am wrong but some of what I have told him must have sunk in. I am so very proud tonight.

Not only did he reject the drugs, but no doubt he ignored the peer pressure that they probably tried. It is difficult to be a man and turn your back on people who you thought were friends.

Well done to John, it takes a very strong and secure teenager to rebuff peer pressure, specially when it comes from his mates.

well done to him, glad to hear that he did the right thing .....also pleased for you it shows that as a parent whatever you are doing means you moving them in the right direction in the world and to be honest thats the confirmation to prove it ...
