its quite amazing how quick it all happened, i will no longer have a land mark to look out for on the way home now the whole area has changed just by loosing these towers

Thank you for this, it is so clever the way it is done, i wanted to demolish a 100ft high brick chimney in the same way many years ago, but the factory inspectorate insisted that it be taken down brick by brick and the adjoining owner (British Rail) wanted a £50 million indemnity against damage to their property. So it was a brick by brick job (very boring)
I did manage an explosive finish on a river diversion in Frome, Somerset. we constructed a new weir on dry ground then cut away the upstream and downstream river profile and the lump that was left was "blown up" pity i was not able to video it. :omg:
