Well the Natmeet is done and dusted for another 12 months and despite spending my easter behind a laptop for 16 hours a day doing IT and results I think everyone had a good time. We had about 400 people from all over Australia attend the event in Hobart and I event managed to come away with a gong for "the best digitally manipulated photo" in the photo competition and a second place in the action shot section.

Thank you for posting the links, you must have really enjoyed that. What a fantastic turn out and such a variety of cars. Some will be featured in the MG Quiz quite soon because I didn't immediately recognise quite a few of them
No pictures of your F in the album, were you displaying another of your cars?

I was only there in a support role (IT and Results), so I wasn't running either of my cars, both were in attendance though. A couple from Western Australia borrowed my MGF for the event and had a great time travelling about, and a mate and his 13 year old son had my MGB for the weekend after his spridget was deemed ineligible and he ended up 2nd in his class in the motorkhana in it.

It was a great meeting which I enjoyed very much. Shame though about some of the questionable Concours results. Standard of judging and knowledge of the judges was extremely suspect in a few classes. This of course is not the fault of the organisers as they rely a lot on judges coming from other centres. I hasten to add though that I was unaffected as I am no longer into the concours thing but its disappointing for those whom concours is a life and death thing.....
Nevertheless the Tasmanian Centre put on a great meeting and are to be congratulated for it.
Murray - Currently in Strahan and giving the F plenty around the mountains

Yep, it's and Inn & a Bakery. They do some sure pies there. Ross is one of those places in Australia which is something of a time warp. Untroubled by the onrush of progress.
