Courtesy car
Well, I dropped the LE500 off at a well known MG garage for some work to be done.
They handed me the keys for a courtesy car to use over the next couple of days.
I'm glad to say that it is a relative of the LE and one that I haven't had the pleasure of driving yet.
I'm still not sure about the styling and it is metallic red.
Anyone want to guess?

MG6 isn't available in metallic red.
Is it a 2006 Rover 75?

Hmm. I assumed it was metallic. I may have been mistaken.

Regal red is a solid colour, and is brighter than the Scorched red of the LE500, also a solid colour.

Not sure if it is the photo but ours looks slightly darker than that.

More like this?
It depends on the light and the difference between the two cars is more obvious in overcast light, whereas in bright sunshine they look quite similar and the MG6 looks much brighter. As far as I know they haven't changed the colour options at all, and the GT is available in silver, grey, orange and blue which are metallic and red, white and black which are solid colours.
Have fun finding all the toys and tricks on the car.
