So decided to send pauls mgf a boot grommet fine? So I got a bit giddy and took some bits off including the boot cable that activates the lock then shut the boot. A similar situation to my tf mishap. Where's me key where's me phone?

Hmm so now I have a dilemma do I sacrifice a part or think eff it and grind the boot off its hinges.

Oh dear what a situation either way I'm only going to loose my pride I could even try that treffen method

Any ideas? And feel free to mock I would if it was one of you lot meheheheheheheheheheheheh

Its the car I'm breaking so not bothered about it really. My TF is OK and drives me to work and back :)

Even a key wouldn't help me though as the cable isn't connected to the lock.

Heres my plan.....

Cut the lock out by cutting two big grooves either side of the MG logo or at the lip of the boot where the spolier is just cut a new more streamline shorter boot there instead.

Good job its not the TF or I'd have been in a ginger rage.
