Oh dear lord! What a lot of effort just to get a locked key out of the boot! Surely smashing one light in or drilling lock would be easier (and cheaper) to fix??

but he hadn't locked the key in the boot, he'd disconected the lock and he wanted the lights but not so fussed about the lid.
