As part of my weight loss program for the TF - by removing my own spare tyres, I've started cycling from Waterloo to the office in North Greenwich. 8 miles each way and the cycling itself is going OK except for Beelzebub the bike.
Fourth puncture in two and a half weeks and this one is after buying supposedly puncture proof tyres! Arrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh

I think it must be me and rear-wheel drive vehicles made in 2004. Bike and car are within a week of each other agewise.

Back with front wheel drive and 181HP at the wheels :)

I was always getting punctures in my bike tyres here. Mostly dead thorns picked up off road. I was recomended to get some plastic inserts made for the job, they are like long strips of plastic, the ones I got were red and have feathered edges so they wrap around the inner tube a bit. It didnt eliminate the problem but its about 1 succesful escape a year for the air in the tyres now.

I've been told I'm now a MAMIL but even cycling in isn't as hot and sweaty as the Jubilee Line.
