oh pants!
picking up a quad bike for my little girl last night in the F.........
when i got there, it was a little bigger than expected, but no problem, i'm in a soft top!
so, i lower the roof........
and,
CRACK!
4 inch split in the rear screen
i wouldnt mind too much, but it wasn't even that cold
guess it's time for a new screen, or a decent hood if i can find one

cheers leigh.
i have seen a later style glass screen hood (doesn't look like the rear screen can zip out?) in grey for £160. not sure how good that would look with a red car? could always dye it with renovo?

Maggie very kindly swapped my cr*p hood with George's at the end of our Scotland trip :hugs:
This was grey and I got it to black with Renovo without any problem. However having followed her advice regarding liquid sheo polish, I used 2 bottles of that (£1.98) to recolour this year and I think it may actually give a better black than the £20+ Renovo.
Just remember to use Renove Ultra Proofer to make it all waterproof and stop any potential runs

It isnt expensive to get a new plastic window sewn in. £100 ish. But if you are fue a new hood then that would be good money after bad. I think the glass ones do zip, but you dont need to. I was in an LE when the hood was piut down, I'm so used to unzipping it it felt really odd to just fold it down in about 2 seconds
