Setting your location

I get no response from the system when I follow the instructions.

If you can pinpoint where the problem is I can set Simon ferreting.

When I go into Glove Box and click on Set Location, or Your Profile I get no response from the system.

OK, we seem to have a bug in the system, please bear with us while we investigate. I really mean - while Simon investigates... :bust:

I've just set my location as well I've tried for two weeks, on pad phone and pc
Scratching my head n that , anyway job done

Good news! The problem has been found.

There is a map App that is missing in some people 's profiles. I'ts a default app so should be enabled in all profiles.

To check, go to your profile page, click on profile tab, go to customise my page(bottom of the list), this will list all the items currently enabled for your profile page. If Geommunity Map Locator Profile application is not there or not ticked.


Select add applications , then click add next to Geommunity Map Locator Profile application.

This should resolve any remaining problems, then you'll be able to set your location.
