The point about free advice saving time etc hit home! I have certainly benefitted so I will make a donation tomorrow when I'm on me laptop.

Since I no longer own an F or Tf, I don't have a lot to say about them, I come on to keep up with friends that I cannot do elsewhere any more.
I fear that the new section will move all the chat into a place I and others cannot go to and so excludes certain sections of the site and leave the visible sections as a sterile techy bit.
I don't like stuff like this on forums, does it show? :whistle:

General chat will still be 99% in the TBar. If something is wrongly posted in the asylum, it will be moved to TBar.

Andy, fear not, your concerns have already been covered by the admin team ... The asylum, as David has suggested, is for those kinda 'full and frank' discussions that could otherwise detract from the ambience of the open forum.

And my personal opinion is you are tight if you will not donate £1 towards upkeep of the site... even I donated £1 when I joined before the stuffs wot you did get for it cos its only fair and although I have an MG I cannot sell her nor Mod her and she is not good for much at all and this site is no help at all with her but I still donated cos and ner and stuff and errrr so there you smell :whistle:

simon,if you can get a sticker to me in 7 days time i will place it on the windowscreen of the press car,the sticker will be removed for the customer,and let me know what i owe you,i think its a great forum and i see everyone here as friends.i cant see anything wrong with a bit of membership money,any one who complains chuck em out and ban them. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
