Jimmy found his own sweet sound and won that free guitar
We'd all get in the van and play
Life became the Paradox, the Bear, the Rouge et Noir
And the stretch of road running to.....where?

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Is it just me or does it seem pointless setting a question which just involves a section of a song lyric, either you know it straight away or if curiosity gets the better of you, you can just Google it I do that if I haven't a clue but don,t answer as I would feel like I had cheated but if someone sets a question with a lyric from an obscure song it is probably the only way it would ever get answered.

If I don't know the lyrics I don't google tbh. I can recall many fairly obscure songs from the seventies and eighties. Have just flogged about 400 vinyl albums after transcripting favourites to digital.

I enjoy the cryptic questions meself, but they're all fun in the end.

A reddish coloured ruler goes to Illinois. Where in the state is he/she headed?

Admirable but erroneous. As is the Chicago answer.

Clue: album wise, if you were an astronaut coming home, which way would you be heading?
