Darling Belle is an account of love and loss is WW1: cheery stuff!

Are you a fan or did you google it?

A bit of both to be honest, I'm not a fan but I must have heard it about 1000 times while in the car with my parents who were fans. I had to look up the lyrics to confirm waterloo bridge....lol

Another destination

From the Boss.

Another pure driving track

you better get it straight darlin'
poor man wanna be rich,
rich man wanna be king,
and a king ain't satisfied 'till he rules everything.
I'm gonna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got.
Well I believe in the love that you gave me,
I believe in the faith that can save me
I believe in the hope and I pray that someday it may raise me above ............

where?

That would be Badlands.

Where did The Band ride into, feeling 'About half past dead'?

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Yep! The Weight, by The Band. Featured on the Easy Rider soundtrack.
If there is anyone who hasn't seen the film: its a classic. The final scene still brings a lump to the throat.

The scene riding over the bridge with Born to be Wild playing is still awesome to behold. Lots of great driving toons as well on the soundtrack.
I saw the film in 1970 and went out next day and bought some Polaroids a la Peter Fonda with my birthday money. A big investment at age 14!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Damn good record, but Foxtrot best imo.

What tube station would Donovan be heading for?
