And a bobbly woolly jumper. And a pipe. All songs end with a variation of 'sailing out of Liverpool, neverrrrrr to return....'

I actually like trad folk: used to play in folk clubs back in the day many moons ago. Martin Carthy, Keith Christmas, Fairports etc. ........ still have the 1913 vintage Clifford Essex banjo. And Gretsch acoustic guitar. Etc.

Modern pop/folk: Mumford and Sons: like Steeleye Span, only even more whiny and with no singer with big norks to gaze at. Just a fat bloke with a bad beard.

Anyhoo, time for deep thought......

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

An enquiry: can you tell me how to get to Saint Joseph's in a Midlands county town?
I'm a gal with what sounds like a blokes name.

Correct David
The Bowie reference John is Mott the Hoople were a great live band but with less success on the record sales front and were on the point of splitting up when Bowie stepped in and donated the song All the Young Dudes which fetched them into the limelight
