If you can get hold of one get a HP TOUCHPAD. I got one for under £100 and installed android on it. Its as fast as diesel destroyers boot poppers

I have got a kindle fire and it is far more superior than the cheapo tablets around even without hacking it. If bought from amazon and you do decide to hack it they always send replacements out before you need to return your unit ;)
I hacked mine with no problem at all and I've not heard of any issues that were unable to be rectified anyway.
