I guess it's a horses for courses thing ..

This forum is very much family orientated, hence the swear filter..

We do have The Asylum where as said, all the rules still apply, but the debate can be a bit more in depth ..

Personally I can think of nothing more horrendous than coming on and seeing the sort of posts I have seen on .org

Guess everyone is just happy with the way it is, and the way it is run, so maybe it is not for some people ..

The good thing about forums is there's usually one for every taste.



We're blessed here insofar as being friendly, socially active, informative and generally inoffensive here. :welcome:

There is another forum not far from these waters with a very similar ethos with a more lax approach to content.... and many members frequent both. :hugs:

Neither of these forums believe in curtailing free speech.

Both believe in keeping members informed....... and I guess both are providing life boats for .org refugees......


The essential difference is this place could be likened to a coffee bar ... the other to a saloon bar. :lol:

If I'm thinking about the same forum, I think adi described it as a mothers meeting :lol:
