Just noticed the location icon is gone from under the avatar.

Right, a fairly comprehensive test:

Apple Mac OS X

Firefox - Forum, shoutbox and site working fine, however search only seems to return results on username. Searching for MG TF or HGF for example returns nothing or times out.

Safari - Forum, shoutbox and site working fine, search just times out

Windows 7

Internet Exploder - Site working fine, along with forum. Shoutbox working but intermittently stalls. This could well be internet exploder. search just times out.

Firefox - Same results as OS X, except search just failed and timed out

Chrome - Same as firefox.

iOS

Safari - Same results as OS X

Will check Tapatalk later when eldest daughter asleep so I can get the iPad back

Shoutbox is also intermittent for me. IE9.
