I have a set of these

I do them up finger tight and then tighten them with a spanner. You then need a spanner to undo them

If they are that determined that they've brought the correct size spanner with them then theres no dust cap thats theft proof. In any case they're only £3.49 on eBay so cheap enough to replace

:omg: I didn't do that with the first fancy set I had.:omg: I had to take one to a tyre place and get the valve changed on it. One just wouldn't come off!:nonod: I tried everything, but there's only so much you can do without damaging the valve stem!

pair of mole grips on the valve stem, right sized spanner on the cap and a lot of pressure.

Then back to the nice black plastic ones.

Or so I'm told!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep tried that, ended up shredding the outer layer of the valve stem and it still wouldn't move. They all get a dab of grease now, that's for sure!:yesnod:

I am still trying to figure out why they nicked my cheap ordinary black plastic ones. How low can one go? any lower, than this, is to run without no dust caps at all.
