it's not far for me, 44 miles and about the same in minutes, and I can get home from thurrock ( the end point) in just over 20 mins B)

Dont forget guys that the end is Thurrock, not South Mimms :)

and door to d.. car park, its about 2hrs 1m according to google maps - 99.1 miles

AA route planner tells me Thurrock services is 2hours 11 min back to my house.Think i am getting a hotel.

Just a thought, the meet starts at south Mimms, but ends at Thurrock and there is a Travelodge there too. Prices start at £23 for the 16th Feb for one night. I know it's not far back to South Mimms from the end point, but just depends how long people hang around after.

Thurrock is only hour and half from me...
you know, ive always thought FRL was a full lap and actually looking at the map, im actually upset its only three quarters round - actually assuming we actually drive anti clockwise!! Actually!! haha

l'll be doing this run, will be my third time. I believe Lee already has me on the list of attendee's.

Whiz, everyone does a full lap, it's just that some do the Thurrock to South Mimms section to get to the pre-run meet and others do it after the post run meet going home.

How does that work?

From a lot of places it is easier to get to South Mimms going clockwise and to get home again also going clockwise, proberbly close to 50%. Then there are those that cut to South Mimms and then cut away from Thurrock.

If there is anyone travelling down the A1(M) from the north, I am planning on leaving Baldock services at approx 20:00. I will probably get there for a coffee at 19:30 if anyone fancies an impromptu mini meet and convoy to south mimms?

I will be traveling down from Doncaster to meet up with a Org. group you may as well just join up with them will probably be about 10 cars, I will be leaving Donny at just after 5pm

I will probably drive down with the SMS group who usually meet on the A5 south of Milton Keynes and go to the M1 through Dunstable.
