The forum works best in firefox so that's not the issue. Let's work through it. Do the following...
You click on glovebox - yes?
You click on your profile - yes?
You hover the cursor on the profile tab - yes?
You click on change profile picture - yes?

Now click on Browse.
Find a picture on your computer.
Double click on the picture
Click upload

Thanks - my mistake was not to start in the glovebox....I was going straight to profile under the forum tab....anyway all fine now as you can see.
