No car related presents at Casa Jonsson, unless I'm supposed to start driving around in a onesie!

I got a Mike Satur wiper linkage....

Looks like an afternoon's work to fit (or longer). The MS instructions say nothing about parking the blades vertically before removing the wiper motor but I'm sure that I've read somewhere that that is the easier way....need to look again.

Next job after this will be to sort out the headlights.....very dim the other day driving home in the wet & dark. They look OK but when I shone a very bright torch over the reflector I could see surface degradation. I've heard that Dual Metallising (http://www.dual-metallising.co.uk/) can re-silver the reflectors if I strip the lights down....anyone done this yet?

Thinking about it it makes more sense to fit the wiper linkage once the reflectors have been sent off as the car won't be going anywhere without lights and a front bumper.

When I first went looking I saw loads of MGB bears in M&S and BHS, when I went to buy one they were all gone :(
We also tried buying a onesie on Christmas Eve, couldn't find even one in any of the clothing shops in Horsham! :-?

I had a replacement and T-bar with speakers so that now I can hear my 70's music! Or at least I will once the rain stops for a couple of hours and I can get it fitted.

Merry Christmas all!
