Midland Marauders Announcement

I have been requested to put forward my position regarding the future of the Midland Marauders should the vote go in favour of the Marauders remaining as a TBar group.

My position is as follows

I have deliberately not taken part in any votes on the matter and do not know which way they are going. Should the vote go for the MM pages to remain on the T Bar then I would be prepared to carry on as Admin taking Jan's place as leader with Buttercup as another Admin or any other elected admin(s) I feel could work with.

This is with the proviso that

1. I am not prepared to take part in any group which excludes Jan.
2.The group would have to work across forums like the Border Patrol.
3. If there is any further abuse or unpleasantness I would resign immediately.

I have spoken to Jan and she has agreed that should Midland Marauders remain a TBar group the Facebook group name would be changed to just The Midland Marauders and not include MGWW in the group title.

We have discussed this and Alan is going to continue the group on here with Buttercup and him as admin.

Lets support Alan and help the group be successful.

After over ten hours the votes have gone with option one.

1) Go with Andy Watsons suggestion of keeping it as it is with Alanrt and Buttercup administrating the MM group at the T-Bar and also co-ordinating it elsewhere.

[strike]2) Remove the MM group from the T-Bar in its' entirety.[/strike]



That's that then. We roll on with supporting the MM group with Alan and Buttercup as group admins, following the criteria Alan has listed above, under the T-Bar banner. Hopefully future midland marauder events will turn out to be equally as popular as the negotiations have been. Good luck. :broon:
